Celebrating 50 years of IN2P3 : 1971-2021
To mark its 50-year milestone, IN2P3 unveiled a new website that serves as a repository for various resources, such as a historical overview of the institute and its labs, along with a collection of 35 exhibition posters. Additionally, several events were held in laboratories, including a half-day international scientific symposium closing as a session.

“Your Adventure at CERN” is an choose-your-own-adventure type of gamebook about particle physics. It’s a fun and engaging book where readers immerse themselves in the story by choosing the character’s decisions as the plot progresses.

LHC: connect the dots! A simple outreach activity to explain how particle detectors work
Participants receive a sheet of paper showing a simplified event occurring within a typical particle detector. Their task is to reconstruct the tracks of particles by drawing them on paper and analyzing the event. Six differents events are available in multiple difficulty level.

Women and Girls in Science and Technology
In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, local schools hosted one-hour presentations by women working in STEM fields over the course of a week. This event is held in the canton of Geneva, the district of Nyon, and the departments of Ain and Haute-Savoie.
