Abstract

“I’m a scientist – Get me out of here” is an online, student-led STEM program that connects school students with scientists through text based chats. Teachers can book a 30-minute private chat session for their class, or students can ask questions anytime on the website for scientists to answer. It covers various rouds of topics thoughout the year.

Each week, students vote for their favorite scientist, and the winner receives funding for a science communication project.
