Engaging public events – The exemple of Universal Science & Music of Physics

Abstract

Public events create engaging environments that make use of catalysts to capture the public’s attention and facilitate interactions with science in fun ways.

Universal Science starts with scientists at exhibits meeting with the public with food & drink. It is followed by three short talks and a panel discussion, concluded by one-on-one discussions.

Music of Physics happens on small public stages or in pubs with local musicians, composers, and scientists. It revolves around a narrative connected through music.
