SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Outreach Activities
The SLAC Laboratory hosts many outreach activities, including tours, monthly lectures, informal science talks, and other public events. It also organizes a one-week summer camp for high school girls and actively participates in supporting the international physics community like in Africa and Nepal.

Quantum Outreach @ FNAL Lederman Science Center
Quantum Information Science (QIS) materials are usually for advanced students, leaving out most students. To address this issue, Fermilab developed Portable Exhibits for classrooms with hands-on activities for the students. They also developed permanent exhibits at the Lederman Science Center with activities and explanation.

REINFORCE multi-sensorial analysis with the SonoUno-Software
REINFORCE developed a multi-sensory approach (image, sound, tactile models) for data analysis and visualization with sonoUno, a user-centered software. To make it accessible, they created twelve training modules, three for each of the four projects developed within REINFORCE.

Outreach activities at LIP
The LIP hosts a lot of outreach activities, from visits to science fairs and talks in schools. They engage in international events such as the Portuguese teachers’ program, European Researchers’ Night, and International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Discover the Universe with Romania@CERN (DUROCERN)
The Institute of Atomic Physics hosts DUROCERN, an Educational and Outreach Centre, on its 2nd floor. It showcases the main facilities of CERN through interactive exhibitions and workshops. It also presents the main contributions made by Romanian teams to CERN experiments.

Outreach at the Pierre Auger Observatory
The Pierre Auger Observatory is heavily invested in outreach activities through Science Fairs and Women in Science projects. They have organized “PAO goes to school” since 2009, visiting a total of 29 schools, followed by a tour of the Observatory.

HAWC outreach activities
The HAWC collaboration participates in outreach activities like science fairs, public outreach talks, and virtual visits. They are heavily involved in the Noche de las Estrellas, a festival held annually in Mexico since 2009.

“Become a particle physicist in eight simple moves” book
