The “Congrès des deux infinis”
Sonder les infinis : des particules au cosmos

Credit : Nicolas Arnaud
Abstract
The event lasted 15 days across Réunion Island, featuring an international symposium, public lectures, workshops for teachers, academic competitions, and student-scientist meetings. It demands more work than for a regular conference but gives also more possibilities of funding and mitigate the carbon footprint of the conference.
Réunion Island also organizes outreach activities via the “trésor des deux infinies,” a teacher network engaging voluntary students in educational initiatives using local resources.
